This class focuses on building the skills needed to edit parcel data and maintain accurate GIS information within the MapAnalyzer2 environment. Participants will learn how to enter edit mode, split and merge parcels, update parcel attributes, process subdivisions, and properly save and verify their changes. The training emphasizes accuracy, consistency, and best practices to ensure reliable mapping data. To ensure the training is effective and productive, sessions will be limited to county mapping staff, with a maximum of 15 participants per class. Because MapAnalyzer2 is a new system, gathering feedback from mappers who will use the platform daily is a key priority. Smaller class sizes will allow for meaningful discussion, hands-on interaction, and opportunities for participants to provide valuable input as the system is introduced. MapAnalyzer2 is designed to be intuitive, and users familiar with the original MapAnalyzer should find the tools and navigation recognizable. These sessions will support a smooth transition into the updated environment while also providing space for questions, feedback, and user engagement throughout the training.
