This class introduces users to the MapAnalyzer2 environment, focusing on building confidence in navigating the map and working with parcel data. Participants will learn how to locate and select parcels using various tools, manage map layers, view parcel attributes, and run essential map functions. The course also covers labeling, overlaying layers, and importing and exporting data, equipping users with the foundational skills needed to efficiently explore and analyze mapping information. To ensure the training is effective and productive, sessions will be limited to county mapping staff, with a maximum of 15 participants per class. Because MapAnalyzer2 is a new system, gathering feedback from mappers who will use the platform daily is a key priority. Smaller class sizes will allow for more meaningful discussion, hands-on interaction, and opportunities for participants to provide valuable input as the system is introduced. MapAnalyzer2 is designed to be intuitive, and users familiar with the original MapAnalyzer should find the tools and navigation recognizable. These sessions will support a smooth transition into the updated environment while also creating space for questions, feedback, and user engagement throughout the training.
